May was obviously a month for BIG celebrations (*ahem* Anniversary Sale and my personal birthday month), but it was about so much more than just that. We celebrated 18 years of DRD on the 18th—our golden birthday—and wow, still riding that high and feeling all the love. May also included a quick girls’ trip across the pond, an event in the DRD showroom I LOVED, and possibly my favorite Amazon purchase… ever?? More on that below.
What I Wore
Jewels consisted of my tried-and-true Poppy Rae’s of course, but I’ve also been layering in my Poppy Rae Pebble Link Station Necklace with all my stacks lately. My Nana Bernice Trio Ring is also a regular in my stack.

This little Prada bag is my new fave accessory. I’ve had so much fun building outfits around it—it’s small but mighty. I’ve also been VERY into light jackets lately. These three are must-haves, IMO.

What I Ate
Zarella is new in Chicago and I’m obsessed with their tavern style pizza. I don’t eat pork—which means I never eat pepperoni—but they have beef pepperoni and wow, it was so good. BUT London was a highlight for food this month so don’t miss my Substack recap. Borough market was so fun!
What I Read
I read 6 books in May. (I’m not perfect at updating my Goodreads, but you can find most of them here!) That said, I was OBSESSED with Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah—5 stars all the way.
What I Watched
Landman is my newest obsession. I'm almost finished and OMG ALI LARTER!!! I'm not over how hot she is. AND she's an OG DRD girl.
What else?
Listening to Poppy's Spotify playlist. She is OBSESSED with music and she makes the best playlists. If I knew how to share it, I would.
My latest hyperfixation is my bed desk from Amazon. Is this the best invention ever? Maybe.
Lastly, we went on an awesome work YPO trip to Kamalame Cay (gorgeous!) and Women Work Fucking Hard hosted the best event in the showroom. Felt so much love, motivation and just overall support. It felt like such a special night and I want to thank Lindsay Shookus and Kelly Rossi for hosting.
Whew, what a month. Here’s to the next.
xx Dana
