What I Wore/Ate/Read/Watched in March
The button-down I’ve been wearing on REPEAT and croissant sourdough loaf… yes, please.
What I Wore
March was focused on new product samples for our Couture show and for Fall. I am so excited for the new jewels—and while it always feels like there are new jewels, I just love getting to create and feel so inspired by the collections we are building.
As far as my day-to-day stack goes, I’ve still been obsessing over my Poppy Rae Pebble Hoops (I will never stop loving these) and these three necklaces together… they’re just too good.

I love a crisp button-down and I’ve been wearing these TWP ones on REPEAT! The cut is *chef’s kiss* and I love the rolled sleeve design (can be worn unrolled too).

I mentioned in my post about female-founded brands that I’ve been loving Favorite Daughter—this brand has gotten so much love in my wardrobe this month. Listen… their belts!! I will never shut up about them and they’re all around (or under) $100.
Lastly, I wore this head-to-toe Zimmerman set for an International Women’s Day event in our showroom and LOVED. It was like an elevated take on my everyday button-down and wide leg pants. Absolutely loved this color too.
What I Ate
FYI, still obsessing over *THE* bagels! In case you missed it, they’re made with cottage cheese and they’re to-die-for.
My BFF, Claudia, dropped off a croissant sourdough loaf (yes, you read that right) and OMG it was insane. The flakes, the butter… so good. Pictured below so you, too, can drool over this absolute work of art. You’re welcome!
For the first time ever, I tried a dirty soda from Rainbow Cone—a Diet Coke with cherry syrup and French vanilla creamer. WHOA. It was a “wow” moment. I've been dying to get to Swig my next trip out west. (My west coast girls, tell me what combos to try!!)

What I Read
Just finished Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See which I loved so, so deeply. I’m now reading Traction (a business book by Gino Wickman) because things feel really hard right now. Reminding myself that progress is never linear! *deep breaths*
Next up on my list is The Last Love Note by Emma Grey and The War That Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley because Poppy loved it and wants me to read it.
What I Watched
I should really label this category “Trying to Watch” because I’ve been trying to get into Meghan Markle’s new cooking show and I’ve been thinking, is it love, Meghan? It’s not for me. Doesn’t scratch my “Domestic Dana” side. I do need her whole wardrobe from the show though!
What else?
Absolutely HYPERFIXATING on my wardrobe and adding color! It’s still an ongoing effort but I’m having so much fun.
Aaaand we wrapped up the month of March with Lu’s birthday. We've been talking about her birthday for six months so I'm glad it’s here. I had some fun up my sleeve for her and we had the best time! I still can’t believe she’s EIGHT.
BTW, Lu is still rocking her beret from Paris. Honestly, she’s still obsessed and thinks she’s French.
What was the highlight of your month? As always, thanks for being here—let’s do this, April!
xx Dana
