What I Wore/Ate/Read/Watched in April
A farm-to-table dinner in Michigan, a new DRD collab, and the best book I’ve ever read…
April was full of some fun discoveries that became fast favorites. So much good food, a DRD collab I’m still obsessing over, and maybe one of the best books (if not the best book) I’ve ever read…
What I Wore
This MOTHER top is a fave new buy. I am in full spring mode and so excited to dress for it. This AFRM dress is another one that has quickly become a favorite in my closet. Bonus that it is so comfortable.
Jewels were all about our Jacey Duprie x DRD collab this month! I can’t stop wearing the ball huggies and tennis necklace from the collection. They’re all such classic pieces that are easy to wear forever. It’s only available for a little over one more week so don’t sleep on it! Shop the whole collab HERE.

What I Ate
Between our trip to Florida and Passover happening this month, we ate LOTS of good food. And good food = a happy me. We went to AVIV in Miami and YUM, I’m still thinking about it.
We also tried Motek in Boca and it was delish. So much good Israeli food from both of these places and it was all done so well.
We were also in Michigan this month and visited Granor Farm for dinner—such a cool concept and experience. It literally doesn’t get more farm-to-table than this. Dinner is served in their greenhouse on the property, with a view of their home-grown ingredients!
With Passover happening this month I also spent a lot of time eating matzoh, BUT I love this brand from Amazon and literally eat it year-round.
What I Read
A few weeks ago, I picked up The Goddess of Warsaw by Lisa Barr and it is possibly the best book I’ve ever read. (Historical fiction, in case you’re wondering.) I also connected with the author because I tagged her on Instagram, which was really fun and cool. In a nutshell…
“The Goddess Of Warsaw is an enthralling tale of a legendary Hollywood screen goddess with a dark secret about her life in the Warsaw Ghetto. When the famous actress is threatened by someone from her past, she must put her skills into play to protect herself, her illustrious career, and those she loves, then and now.” – via Goodreads
I will never, ever forget this book. It changed me!
We’re also reading Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy for our DRD book club on May 7th, so that’s my current read.
What I Watched
Handmaid’s Tale is BACK and I am on the edge of my seat, per usual.
I’m also watching The Righteous Gemstones—IYKYK. And if you don’t know… you need to start watching immediately because it is so unhinged in the best way. The cast of this show is so good.
What else?
My friend, Rachel Rischall, just started a podcast that I’ve been listening to called The Connection Code with Rachel and Jeana. I’m loving it so far. You can listen on Apple podcasts here!
Also hyperfixating on Siete Maiz Lime Corn Tortilla Chips. Have you tried? I’m obsessed! The girls have their own hyperfixation on Poppi right now. Poppy Gordon (my Poppy) reached out to them, took some pics, and shared that her name is Poppy and they were kind enough to send a package! (Pulled the Mom card.) Needless to say, they are VERY excited about it.
Tell me everything you loved this month!
xx Dana
