It’s that time again—Couture season! Which means we’re packing our bags (and jewels) and heading to Vegas.
Considering I travel what feels like every weekend, I’ve gotten my flight must haves down to a routine: Kindle, sweater, a jacket because plane temps are unpredictable at best, headphones that plug into my phone (I’m officially over AirPods), and snacks. Always.
So… what is Couture?
Couture is a high-end jewelry designer trade show in Las Vegas. Think of it as the Super Bowl for fine jewelry—buyers, editors, designers, and brands from around the world all in one place. A few different shows are happening in Vegas that week, but we exhibit exclusively at Couture.
Our first time showing was in 2014, and I was very pregnant with Poppy.
Every year, we kick things off with a team lunch at Tableau. We always order the La Scala salad and fries. I like a good tradition—even if this one’s a little cursed.
Flashback to 2017: we found out, on setup day, that our jewelry had been wrongly loaded onto a semi-truck instead of a plane. So instead of arriving in time, it was... somewhere in the Midwest. Meanwhile, I was spiraling. It was one of the most traumatic career moments I’ve had.
We ended up sending Noah to the showroom late at night to grab anything he could from the safe—nothing new, but at least it was something. He flew out on a red-eye and landed just in time to fill the cases so we could open on day one. Honestly, heroic. And yet, despite the chaos, we still eat at Tableau every year. Maybe we’re just loyal… or maybe we’re just hungry.
As for everything else—meals, logistics, remembering things like deodorant—I leave it all to Jen. She’s the planner. I never make a dinner reservation, never pack a hairbrush, and somehow it all works out. Traveling with her is a dream.
This weekend, our dinner reservations were at Cipriani and Komodo. Except for Wednesday night, we had room service (another tradition) and I could not have been happier.
The show itself provides breakfast and lunch, which is great—but every night definitely ends with a cocktail and dessert. Because standing in a ballroom from 9 to 6 is no joke, and we deserve it.
I’m not gonna lie, my outfits this year felt like a bit of an afterthought. I had a preview night on Wednesday, then four full show days. I leave tonight, so four looks total. Mostly black, which feels kind of somber… but I did throw in one bright dress and a backup.
When I was pulling photos for this post, I loved seeing how much our style has evolved over the years. Couture is something we do almost every year, and seeing how we’ve grown—and how our brand has grown—makes me emotional every time. It’s one of those weekends that always feels iconic.

One tradition I love? We always snap a pic of the shoes we bring. Because… it’s a lot. We’re both completely shoe-obsessed, and I firmly believe a shoe can make or break an outfit. So naturally, we bring options. Too many options. No regrets.

I’m SO excited about this year because we have our newest category: lockets! We’ve been working on these for a while, and I truly can’t wait to share them. It is so good and feels really special.
A few other styles I’m loving right now:
Overall, my favorite part of Couture is sharing a room with my sister. Always. We’re totally obsessed with the Wynn suites and night one is always room service in pajamas. I actually have the best team room service video of all time—remind me to share it. It’s a core memory.
So here we are—another year, another Couture. Same salad, same shoes (plus five more pairs), and a whole lot of excitement to share what we’ve been working on.
Talk soon

I live for the shoe pics when you and Jen travel together!
