8 Engagement Ring & Wedding Band Pairings I’m Loving
Designer approved (and honestly, just pretty to look at)!
Building a bridal stack is one of my favorite tasks ever, ever. And I’m no stranger to getting a newly finished ring stuck on my finger because… well, a girl likes to play dress up and sometimes things don’t go as planned (IYKYK).
Choosing an engagement ring and wedding band is not only super personal to every individual, but it’s also such a fun creative outlet that reflects each couple’s story and style. The engagement ring stage is SO fun and gets all the attention, but I seriously think the wedding band is where the stack really shines—it’s a way to add a personal touch, engrave something meaningful (like this recently finished project), add a band for each milestone, or simply complement your diamond… the list goes on.

Styling Oval Solitaires
Ovals are having a BIG moment (and have been for a while) and they are one of the most versatile diamond cuts to style when it comes to a wedding band.
Take it from me… DO NOT sleep on our Melody Eden Vertical Gold Bar Ring as a wedding band!! I cannot emphasize this enough. She looks stunning with almost any diamond shape, but she’s a dream with an oval solitaire. The elongated gold bars complement the elongated shape of the oval so well.
Another favorite: the Ava Bea Double Row Ring. If you like a one-and-done kind of stack, she’s a no-brainer because she gives the illusion of two bands stacked together (at the fraction of the price of two separate rings, too).
Styling a Classic Round
Round cut diamonds are always a classic and really, the sky is the limit when styling them, but lately I’m kind of loving a super simple combo like this one…
There’s something about a dainty, timeless eternity band that makes a round cut diamond pop and take center stage. BTW, this band is just around $1K—such a stunning way to complete your stack without straining the budget.
Styling All-Gold Bands
Another underrated option, if you ask me, is a simple gold band. Some people think adding an all-gold band is “too plain,” but play up that width and I promise it turns into something STUNNING. (But honestly, I love a delicate, slim gold band in the right stack, too.)
I mean, this oval eternity ring and gold band combo?! You’re kidding. It’s so good. Sometimes the engagement ring really does need to be the star of the show and the wedding band just enhances its beauty without drawing away too much attention.
My favorite trick is upping the width of a gold band like this, to make it feel special and like a stand-out piece that doesn’t get lost in the stack. A wider band is perfect for adding engraving on the inside, too!
Styling Multiple Wedding Bands

If you have an engagement ring on the simpler side, I LOVE a multiple band stack—which don’t have to be purchased at the same time, BTW! I’m all about adding a band down the road for an anniversary, new baby, or any other special occasion. Mixing diamond shapes like this baguette band and round eternity band is really fun with a solitaire.

Pro tip: when in doubt, take notes from your center stone to inform the rest of your bridal stack. This slightly elongated cushion cut plays so well with the vertical design of these two bands, and the all-gold band situated in the center of the stack allows all the diamonds to shine.

Hiiii beautiful white gold stack! Another perfect example of allowing your center stone to guide your stack—we stuck with all baguettes and emerald cuts for this one and it keeps the whole look so clean and modern.
The moral of the story is: first comes love, then comes the engagement ring, then comes building the most special, drool-worthy stack of a lifetime. That’s how the saying goes, right? Which one is your fave?
